We are experts in manufacturing and exporting high quality artists papers and fine art inkjet papers. We use one of the few cylinder mould machines left in the world together with natural woollen felts. Our master papermakers produce beautiful papers with stunning texture and excellent surface stability.

St Cuthberts Mill
Hall 4.1 K48
Counting down to Paperworld/Creativeworld 2016 which begins this Saturday (30th Jan). We can't wait to show off some great artwork, including two original papercuts by Louise Jenkins. Louise has used a variety of our papers to create them, and we'll be posting plenty of photos from Frankfurt over the weekend!
like to announce that we have taken on three more apprentices! The apprentice
scheme runs in collaboration with both Bridgwater and Strode College’s, and has
proved to be highly successful for all involved. We have fully trained five
apprentices so far in a variety of positions at St Cuthberts Mill.
Our newest apprentices are Charlotte Broom in the main
office. Charlotte is currently working as an office apprentice. We also welcome
Jordan Boulton and Andrew Swain who are training as Papermakers.
training period will last 18 months with both Bridgwater and Strode Colleges
checking on their progress along the way.
”The apprenticeship scheme
has been amazing for St Cuthberts Mill. We’ve used the programme successfully
to recruit the next generation of papermakers with the craft of making the high
quality artists paper made at the mill” commented Catherine Frood, Marketing
The mill's chimney is over 100 years old, having been constructed in 1897 costing £1,735 ( a huge amount in those days). The bricks were laid in a single layer, spiralling upwards to 168 feet high (51m).
